DAYTIME SUPPORT
Specific support varies each day based on the needs of the family, but can include: offering assistance with breastfeeding and bottle feeding; helping to facilitate the birthing parent’s rest and recovery; providing a nonjudgmental and caring space to process your birth story and postpartum experience; infant care instruction such as swaddling, soothing techniques, developmental expectations; light housework; meal prep; and more!
Pricing:
$40/hour, 4 hour minimum -
MULTIPLES
Welcoming multiples offers unique opportunities and challenges. I have experience with multiples but, more importantly I LOVE it! I can help you set up routines that work well with more than one baby, point you in the direction of which baby gear is best for your situation, and support you as you grow into your role as a parent of multiples. While it may feel overwhelming, you can absolutely do this and I will support you every step of the way.

$45/hour, 4 hour minimum

NEWBORN PREPARATION SESSION
Are you feeling overwhelmed by all of the options for baby gear? Are you worried about bringing home a newborn(s)? I can help you get ready to welcome your growing family with confidence!
I will come to your home before Baby arrives and help you prepare to bring your newest addition(s) home. From help with your baby registry to advice on how to set up your home for an easier transition, I will walk you through every step.
Pricing:
$75 for a 1 1/2 hour session

GIFT CERTIFICATES/BABY REGISTRY
The gift of caring support and practical help is priceless! What if you could give new parents a full night’s sleep? Or the peace of mind knowing that there will be support present for the birthing partner when family members and friends have other obligations? A Pleasant Beginning offers the opportunity for loved ones to provide much-needed rest and support for new parents. Additionally, expecting parents can add gift certificates for postpartum doula services to their baby registry.
Gift certificates are available in a variety of packages and denominations to provide exactly what is needed for the growing family.
Brandy was a godsend when I had twins last August. My husband and I do not have family nearby and were inexperienced in baby care. The twins were premature and I was terrified. Brandy was kind and patient, and taught us so much about newborn care, empowering us to trust our instincts and care for our babies. She helped us be able to enjoy this intense and wonderful time in our life. We are still in touch and share photos of the girls as they grow. We will always think of Brandy as a member of our family.
